Enlightened design, a versatile interior, and efficient performance are what you’ll find with the Mazda CX-3. The first few details are starting to emerge about the upcoming 2019 model, and it seems that the Mazda brand continues to take this innovative vehicle to the next level.
One of the standout features of the Mazda CX-3 is its striking design. It is the essence of the Mazda brand’s notable KODO design: simple lines that express energy and movement. The 2019 model stays true to its roots and retains its trapezoidal bar grille but has a new inner grille design. Other exterior design updates include the rear lights and new lower chrome trim on the sides.
The interior is where you’ll see greater changes. The front seats have been completely redesigned to be wider and more comfortable, and they can now be ordered with full leather on the top trims for the first time. Design changes to the finishings and dials provide a tidier and more premium look. The interior will remain as smart and comfortable as before, with flexible seating options and advanced technology features.
The engine remains the same, but it now produces 148 horsepower and 148 lb-ft of torque, and it has been updated to reduce internal friction. This change for the 2019 model increases torque and improves fuel economy. Another addition to the driving dynamics of the 2019 Mazda CX-3 is the G-Vectoring Control program that provides sharper handling and a smoother ride.
